LIA'S DIARY 2

Lia had her puppies on the 13/07/09 She has 4 girls and 1 boy. Here are the first picture's of the puppies at 1 day old.

Puppies and Lia are doing really well, Lia is being a fantastic mother and being very attentive to her puppies,

20/07/09

Puppies are 1 week today. Lia is being a fantastic mother as always.

Puppies all doubled their birth weight by day 5 and 6, they are all doing extremely well.

One of the girl puppies. All have fantastic heads. Kelly and I will be keeping one of the girls each from this wonderful litter by Digby.

Girl puppy, as you can see they now have black noses, but they still can't see or hear.

27/07/09

Puppies are now 2 weeks today

Puppies are now just about up on their feet.

They now have their eyes open and can hear.

Lia washing and polishing!!!!

All puppies have been wormed today for the first time with Drontal puppy.

All puppies are fantastic weights very large and fat!!

Puppies are now making barking noises and when they do they frighten themselves.

Now all washed and polished and feeding happily.

Puppies are now 3 weeks old and growing like mad, they are all so plump, and well above the average weights they should be, thanks to Lia

Puppies will start to be weaned (not that they need it but I must take some of the pressure off of Lia and the fantastic job she is doing)

They will be meeting their new owners this weekend coming, Lia and I are looking forward to meeting them.

Puppies are now four weeks old.These are two of the girls

Two girls, Puppies are growing by the day, three weigh 8lb 8 and a half oz, one weighs 7lb 11 oz and my smallest girl weighs 6lb 15 oz (if you can call that small), I know Marlene said they would be big puppies, but I didn't realize they would be Polar Bears!!!! To give you some idea when I brought Lana home at 6 weeks and two days she weighed 8lb 1oz

Now time for sleep after playtime.

I have now met all new puppy owners, all families are lovely and I am sure the puppies will have wonderful homes.

Puppies are now five weeks old, This is Lana (my Santa daughter of 12 weeks) playing with two of the girls

Lia continue's to be a wonderful mother, puppies are all thriving and loving their food as you can tell, next week they will be having their first vaccinations, vet checks and ear tattoo's

Puppies are 6 weeks old today. They now all have their kennel names; this is Pelhamdream's Gracious Star (Lexi)

All puppies have had their first vaccinations and they have had their vet check; all passed with flying colours. They have also had their ear tattoo's

Marlene has been to visit the puppies this week and thought they were all beautiful puppies and could not believe how big they were (well done to Lia)

Puppies have been a wonderful litter, they are all stunning, I am absolutely thrilled to have gone back to Lia's line and had the pleasure of using Sh Ch Squirrelsmead Digby with Canina (Digby) He sire's the most wonderful puppies, so thank you Marlene and of course Digby

Well final puppy diary today, puppies have now all gone to their new homes, Lia and Digby produced a litter of beautiful puppies and I am very proud of them. Lia has had two litters and two caesareans and will now be retiring from breeding. Instead she will watch her beautiful daughter grow and teach her the wonderful nature and manners that she has. I thank you, Lia, for your beautiful puppies and for giving me Georgie, who I hope will follow in your wonderful footsteps

Pelhamdream's Gracious Moon (Lottie). Lottie is now living with Caroline, Ray and Joseph in Pettswood in Kent

Pelhamdream's Gracious Sun (Diego) Diego is now living in the Isle of Wight with the Lutek family

Pelhamdream's Gracious Day (Meg) Meg is now living in Heathfield with Ray, Alison and family

Pelhamdream's Gracious Star (Lexi) Lexi is now with Nick, Kelly, Daniel, Jack and Amy in Crowborough. Like her sister she has been kept by Pelhamdream to hopefully produce some more wonderful puppies in the future.
