DIARY

	29.1.11 Lana is now reaching the end of her pregnancy with only a few more days to go.
	A happy and content Lana, who is now happy just sleeping her days away.
	1.2.11 Lana had her puppies today, she had 5 dogs and 5 bitches, very sadly 1 of the little girls didn't survive the birth.
	The first stages of Lana's labour started on the evening of the 31st Jan, with the 1st puppy being born at 3.12pm and continuing until 12.05am although the birth of all puppies took 9 hours Lana did an amazing job and took everything in her stride, she whelped each puppy very easily .
	As soon as Lana had her 1st puppy she took to motherhood like a duck to water, the puppies must be the cleanest ever as they are washed constantly, I am hoping over the next few days the puppies will eventually be dry!!. See you next week for more up dates Lisa , Lana and puppies xxx.
	8.2.11 Well they are 1 week old today, what a week I am shattered, Lana is very well and being a very good attentive mother though sometimes she just loves her babies to much and curls herself around around them so they have difficulty feeding however I must say she is getting better now and is learing very fast, I hoping next week will be an easier week for me and I will get some sleep, although I am on the settee for more weeks to come!!!
	As you can see puppies now have black noses and black pads, this time next week they will have their eyes open and be up on their feet their ear canals will also be opening.
	1 week today the puppies will be wormed and I shall start the puppies on puppy porridge, this will take some of the pressure of off Lana.
	Ah mummy's boy, most of the puppies have already doubled their birth weight yesterday and I expect the final few to double today, as the books say healthy happy puppies should doubled their birth weight in the 1st week.
	Fed and now to sleep, in the 1st week puppies feed continually as from tomorrow they should start going about an hour and a half between feeds. Well off to get some well earned rest I hope, see you all next week. Lisa Lana and puppies xxx
	15.2.11 Yummy Mummy The lovely Lana 2 weeks after having her babies, Lana is proving to be an absolutely fantastic 1st time mum, she is gentle and very attentive to her babies.
	Puppies were wormed yesterday at 13 days, on Saturday the puppies had a trip to the vets as their stools were very loose, they were given a shot of antibiotic as a precaution and Lana was given a course of antibotics incase she pasted any infection onto the puppies, I would like to add the puppies were not in any danger and continued to put on lots of weight, on Monday I became aware the puppies were having symptoms of having worms so I wormed them and Lana a day early, and thankfully now things have slowly returned to normal.
	One of the boys, eye's now open and ear canals begining to open so puppies now have slight hearing.
	One of the girls, puppies are not yet up on their feet and I haven't started them on puppy porridge, mainly because I dont want to upset their little tummies I would like things to settle for a few days before I attempt to introduce a different food to their diet, puppies are putting on lots of weight so I am not concerned, I will probably start puppy porridge in the next few days.
	A relaxed and chilled boy puppy, puppies are still sleeping most of the day and only really awake when mum enters their whelping box.
	Feeding time at the milk bar!! At this moment in time all puppies are reserved and will be meeting their new owners in the next couple of weeks, see you all next week, Lisa, Lana and puppies xxxx
	22.2.11 Lana and puppies are doing very well, puppies are now playing with each other and today they enjoyed their first meal of scrammbled egg and goats milk, tomorrow they will start on Beta Puppy.
	Feeding time at the milk bar, this is getting more difficult for Lana laying down and now she tends to stand up and feed.
	Puppies have all their prospective new owners coming this weekend, we are all looking forward to meeting them.

Last week I reported puppies had upset tummies, there was not anything wrong with them it was Lana's diet and I was given her to much protein and puppies where putting on to much weight per day, I put Lana back onto her adult food stopped the goats milk she was having and all returned to normal the next day.

	Puppies are begining to show some interest in their new toys, however some still run to the otherside of the whelping box when I squeek a toy, I love this stage in the puppies lives as when they hear you coming or calling them they all jump to their feet and look for guess what? FOOD!!!

	2.3.11 Puppies are 4 weeks and 1 day old today, all puppies have met their new owners and we are all very happy, puppies have lovely homes awaiting, one of our lovely girls.
	One pile of sleeping babies, puppies are all very content happy puppies, they are all on 4 meals a day now and love their food.
	This is one of our handsome boys, all puppies have been wormed yesterday for the second time all were fine after worming. Now puppies are on 4 meals a day i can see them growing by the day.
	Another girl puppy, Lana still spends time with her puppies I let her in with them when they have had their meals and she still sleeps with the puppies at night, puppies are fed by Lana at least 6 times a day still this is her choice.
	Another handsome chappie!!! Puppies now play together and play with their toys, they know when food is delivered to!! All puppies are very good weights for their age, they are beautiful if I say so myself. See you all next week, Lisa, Lana and Puppies xxxx
	8.3.11 Puppies are 5 weeks today, puppies have been outside for the 1st time today as it was lovely and sunny and much warmer than it has been lately, puppies had a wonderful time playing with Billy and I, they had their lunch outside we then brought them in and they are now happily sleeping.
	Puppies still spend a lot of time sleeping between meals they are awake for about half an hour after every meal.

	One of the boys, Lana is no longer sleeping with her puppies at night and she is now only feeding them twice a day once in the morning and once before bed, she didn't take to kindly to this new arrangment at first but all is well now.
	Another handsome chappie, puppies will be moved to the puppy room at the weekend, where they will have much more freedom and access to the outside world, at 1st they dont like their new arrangement but within a day they begin to enjoy their new found freedom, puppies normally go into the puppies room at 4 weeks but they are waiting for Kira's puppies to go to their new homes they are all going Friday and Saturday (so a tearfull weekend ahead for me as I dont like to say goodbye to my babies) I dont want to mix the 2 litters together for obvious reasons. 	24.3.11 All Lana's puppies have now left for their lovely new homes, they were 7 weeks on Tuesday and have been leaving over a few days, we had a lot of extremley happy families collecting their lovely puppies, Lana is now enjoying the peace and quiet and is now free for her beach walks which she loves. All puppies were stunning they were a lovely litter. Here are all the puppies, they are all the K litter: Pelhamdreams Kiss me Quick - Mabel, Mabel is now living with the Head Family in Hampshire.
	Pelhamdreams Keep the Love - Harvie, Harvie is now living in Worthing with the Fowler family.
	Pelhamdreams Knock Out - Bailey, Bailey is now living in Wivelsfield with the Smith Family.
	Pelhamdreams Kiss and Tell - Isla, Isla is now living in Hawkinge, Kent, with my fellow breeder friend Fiona.
	Pelhamdream Kindred Spirit - Bruce, Bruce is staying in Eastbourne with Marina and Jeff Davies.
	Pelhamdreams Knick Knack - Harley, Harley is now living in Stratford upon Avon, warwickshire with Sami Coultas.
	Pelhamdreams Kind of Love - Bonnie, Bonnie is now living in Crowborough, Sussex with the Hazell family.
	Pelhamdreams King Pin - Wilson, Wilson is now living in Weybridge, Surrey with the Harmes family.
	Pelhamdreams Kind of Magic- Lola, Lola is now living with the Setters family in Burgess Hill, Sussex. Please note if you are wonderind why puppies are not pictured with their families this is because I feel it is very intrusive on the families, and for their children to be added to the web-site. xx
